Nowadays, innovation is driven by CAD. From manufacturing to mechanisms to movies, its applications are endless. In this two-week course taught by our design team, who have years of experience, you will learn the fundamentals of 3D design and be able to bring your ideas to life through our immersive project-based curriculum.

You will first learn the principles of 3D design by designing a model car. After that, you will create and 3D print a custom tic-tac-toe game and a custom comb. Everyone will then compete in a friendly round of MasterChef, where you will design a 3D replica of a main course dish and bring it to the table. As a final project, you will intricately design custom Monopoly pieces to create your own Monopoly board game.
While we believe that these are all great projects, our curriculum is adaptable and ultimately defined by what you want to learn. If there is a specific thing you want to design or a technique you want to perfect, let us know and we will do our best to help you!
requirements
You will need a Windows or Mac computer with the Fusion 360 application and a free Fusion 360 personal account. This requires a decent amount of computing resources; if your computer cannot run zoom and chrome with many tabs simultaneously, you might have trouble with running fusion. If this is the case, please let us know, and we will try to help you get access to a capable computer or figure out another workaround.
